New poll: 40% of registered votes would support privatizing USPS

While most registered voters have a favorable view of the U.S. Postal Service, 40% of likely voters would support a proposal to privatize the USPS, according to a new Napolitan News Service poll.

Congress passed a bill to reform the USPS in 2022 and President Biden signed it ino law.
President-elect Donald Trump said recently that privatizing USPS should be under consideration.
According to the survey results, 29% of those polled have a "very favorable" view of USPS and 46% have a "somewhat favorable" view.
When asked if they would support a proposal to privatize the U.S. Postal Service, 12% of respondents said they would strongly favor it; 28% said they would "somewhat favor" the plan; 16% said they would somewhat oppose it; 17% said they would strongly oppose it; and 27% said they are not sure.
