President Donald Trump on Friday confirmed to reporters that he was mulling a military strike on Iran to pressure the government into reaching a nuclear agreement.

"I guess I can say I am considering that," Trump told reporters. His remarks come in the wake of him saying that Iran had 15 days to reach an agreement or face consequences.

Trump has attempted to pressure Iran into abandoning its nuclear ambitions. He previously launched limited strikes on Iran last year, leading to a 12-day conflict between Tehran and Israel, though that effort ultimately failed to break the Iranian government's resolve to pursue a nuclear weapon.

Betting markets currently favor a U.S. strike, with Polymarket market assigning a 63% chance that such an attack occurs before the end of March.
