Ann Marie Buerkle predicts Harris will make Medicare for All a top priority if elected president

Former U.S. Representative Ann Marie Buerkle suspects Vice President Kamala Harris will make Medicare for All her ultimate goal if elected president in November. “We know that she was co-sponsor of the bill Medicare for All with Bernie Sanders when she was a senator. We know that when she campaigned in 2020, she campaign on Medicare for All as well as the elimination of private health insurance,” she says. “So we know that’s where she has been and I think right now she’s trying to distance herself from what’s going on because she knows it’s not a popular position to take.”
