China stages third day of military drills near Taiwan

China’s military carried out drills for the third straight day in the Strait of Taiwan, the Eastern Theater Command of China’s People’s Liberation Army said on April 10. China began military drills in the region on Saturday, following a meeting between Taiwanese president Tsai Ing-wen and the US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on April 5th.
