Flaming space debris re-entering atmosphere lights up California sky
Observers in Sacramento were mesmerized by streaks of light that brightened the night sky on Friday. Reportedly, the flaming debris seen re-entering the Earth's atmosphere were parts of retired communication equipment that the International Space Station discarded in February 2020.
