The recriminations from the coronavirus pandemic keeping getting more intense as America and China play the finger-pointing game.

The Trump administration attacks Beijing for what it says was a slow response to the virus outbreak on its own soil, and poor cooperation afterwards. 

China has made an unsubstantiated allegation that the virus started inside its country with a U.S. soldier.

But the bigger takeaway for U.S. policyholders so far from the global pandemic is the dangers of U.S. dependence on China goods, especially medicine and medical supplies, during a crisis.
