Catherine, Princess of Wales, leaves hospital nearly two weeks after surgery
The princess, also known as Kate Middleton, is "making good progress," the palace said.
Catherine, the Princess of Wales, left the hospital and returned home to Windsor Castle nearly two weeks after she received abdominal surgery, Kensington Palace announced Monday.
The princess, also known as Kate Middleton, is "making good progress" and will continue her recovery from home, the British palace said in a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, after she underwent a successful surgery on Jan. 17.
"The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing stall, for the care they have provided," the palace also said.
The princess was forced to postpone upcoming engagements while she recovers from the procedure. She is not expected to return to her public duties until after Easter, the palace said.
Hours after the princess' discharge, King Charles III was released from the hospital Monday after he underwent treatment for an enlarged prostate last week.
