Four female hostages have boarded an Israeli Air Force helicopter at the Reim military base in southern Israel, the Israeli military said in a statement.

NBC reported that they boarded the helicopter after meeting their family members at a reception point.

The helicopter is transporting the hostages, who are soldiers, to a hospital.

The hostages are reportedly being exchanged for 200 Palestinian prisoners.
