The Israeli government blasts Amnesty International after it released a report alleging Israel is committing genocide in Gaza.

“The deplorable and fanatical organization Amnesty International has once again produced a fabricated report that is entirely false and based on lies,” Israel’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

Israel has said Hamas sparked the war in Gaza in October 2023 when it launched a terror attack, killing about 1,200 Israelis. 

The report, titled, "Israel/Occupied Palestinian Territory: ‘You Feel Like You Are Subhuman’: Israel’s Genocide Against Palestinians in Gaza" was released publicly on Thursday.
