News outlet says Hamas beheaded, burnt babies as death toll rises from 'apocalypse'

Hamas terrorists decapitated and burnt babies in their terror attack on Israel this past weekend, according to The Jerusalem Post.

The report comes amid unverified reports of beheaded babies, including posts on social media. 

The Post reports the photos were shown to Secretary of State Antony Blinken during his visit Thursday to Israel by the Public Diplomacy Directorate in the Prime Minister's Office.

The newspaper also reports the photos were published by the Prime Minister's Office on the social media platform Twitter. However, that account appears to show only pictures of babies killed and burned by Hamas, none beheaded. 

No photo evidence had been made public as of Thursday corroborating such claims that babies had been beheaded. 

President Biden said Wednesday that he had seen photographic evidence of terrorists beheading children. But the White House later clarified that Biden was referring to news reports about beheadings. And those reports did not include or refer to photographic evidence, according to NBC News. 

More than 1,300 people in southern Israel, including at least 25 U.S. citizens, were killed by Hamas terrorists on Saturday, Israel said Thursday.
