Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Thursday that those who harm Israel will have "blood on his head."

"In the midst of the difficult campaign against Lebanon, we established a principle - whoever harms us will have blood on his head," Netanyahu wrote on the social media platform, X

"We know that the road is still long, but we are determined to restore security to the north and return the residents safely to their homes," the post continued.

Lebanon's militant group Hezbollah said that it had launched over 200 rockets at multiple military bases in Israel as retaliation for Israel killing one of its senior commanders.

Israel said that it has intercepted some of the rockets, according to The Associated Press.

Israel is currently at war with Hamas after the terrorist group launched a surprise attack on Israel on Oct. 7 last year that resulted in 1,200 people being killed and hundreds of hostages taken.
