Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on ​Sunday that he will be replacing Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, who only served in the role for one year.

Zelensky did not disclose her replacement.

Reuters reported that Zelensky said her dismissal will help "ensure the implementation of an updated political strategy."
