Jesse Watters to take over Tucker Carlson's primetime slot at Fox News
Fox is also moving Greg Gutfeld's show, "Gutfeld!" up from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. while Sean Hannity will keep his 9 p.m. position.
Fox News host Jesse Watters will take over the 8 p.m. ET timeslot previously occupied by Tucker Carlson on Fox News as the network announced schedule shakeups on Monday.
"Jesse Watters Primetime" is moving from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. with "The Ingraham Angle" taking Watters' initial spot.
Fox is also moving Greg Gutfeld's show, "Gutfeld!" up from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. while Sean Hannity will keep his 9 p.m. position.
"FOX News Channel has been America’s destination for news and analysis for more than 21 years and we are thrilled to debut a new lineup," Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said.
"Tucker Carlson Tonight" had aired at 8 p.m. ET until late April, when Carlson suddenly left the network following a legal battle between Fox and Dominion Voting Systems. That show has been occupied by different rotating Fox News personalities since Carlson's departure.
Carlson's program was the top-rated cable news show in America, bringing in over 2.9 million viewers the week before he left the network, per AdWeek.
Watters brought in 2.6 million viewers in his 7 p.m. timeslot, according to Fox.
