Daniel Wattenberg

Daniel Wattenberg is the managing editor of Just the News. He authored the non-fiction novella "Decatur's Wake," published as a Kindle Single by Amazon. He has written for a wide range of publications extant and defunct, including the American Spectator, George, Playboy, Reason, the Weekly Standard, Atlantic.com, National Review, and Forbes FYI, as well as many newspapers. He worked for years as a senior editor at the Washington Times, where his team routinely produced award-winning work. Before entering journalism, he served in the U.S. State Department in Washington and in the United States Information Agency at the U.S. Mission to UNESCO and the U.S. Embassy in Paris.
