McDonald's to start selling Krispy Kreme donuts in new partnership
The donut will be able to be purchased either individually or in a pack of six.
Popular fast-food chain McDonald's is going to start selling Krispy Kreme donuts as part of a new partnership.
Both companies told CNN earlier this week that three different types of donuts will start being sold at McDonald's starting later this year.
The donut flavors are chocolate with sprinkles, original glazed and chocolate "kreme" filled.
The donut will be able to be purchased either individually or in a pack of six.
“By making Kreme Krispy (sic) accessible to fans nationwide through this partnership, we expect to more than double our points of access by the end of 2026,” said Krispy Kreme President and CEO Josh Charlesworth, according to the news outlet.
As of Tuesday morning, McDonald's shares went up 18% and Krispy Kreme's shares went down 0.2%.
