Melania Trump announces release of upcoming memoir

Former first lady Melania Trump on Thursday announced the release of her upcoming memoir.

"My Story. My Perspective. The Truth," Melania wrote on TRUTH Social with a video attached. 

The former first lady described herself as a private person in the video and said writing the memoir was "deeply personal."

"I believe it is important to share my perspective... the truth," she said in the video. 

The book is available for pre-order on Melania's website. 

The former first lady has remained relatively out of the spotlight since leaving the White House.

She did attend the Republican National Convention this year, though she did not speak at the event, in contrast to her 2016 and 2020 appearances.
