Former Attorney General Pam Bondi is set to provide closed-door testimony Friday morning before the House Oversight Committee on her handling of millions of documents related to disgraced financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The panel voted in March to subpoena Bondi while she was still attorney general. Despite her departure from the role, the committee has continued to demand her testimony about the DOJ's handling of the Epstein files and its related investigations.

Bondi has faced considerable criticism over her handling and release of the files from Democrats and others including those who say they survived Epstein's abuse.

She did not comply with a subpoena to testify under oath, in a formal deposition that would be video recorded.

"Bondi has extensive personal knowledge about the Trump Administration's handling of the Epstein files, and regardless of her job title, her testimony and deposition are crucial," California Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the committee, recently posted on social media.

Epstein died in a New York detention facility cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.
