House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., House GOP leaders and GOP committee chairs released a report resulting from an investigation lasting more than 7 months into antisemitism on U.S. college campuses, which found that many universities likely violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act when they failed to stop antisemitism amid heightened pro-Palestinian protests.

According to the report, some university leaders had declined to support Jewish communities on campus during pro-Palestine protests.

"Students who established unlawful antisemitic encampments—which violated university polices and created unsafe, hostile environments—were granted shocking concessions," according to a summary of the report's findings released by Johnson on Thursday.

The full report goes into further detail about the concessions, citing Northwestern University and Columbia University leaders "appeasing" the protest encampments on the campus grounds.
