House passes resolution with bipartisan support condemning China using surveillance balloon over US

The House on Thursday passed a resolution condemning China having used a surveillance balloon over the U.S.

The resolution states calling the balloon having traversed the country a "brazen violation of United States sovereignty," according to NBC News.

The resolution, which passed 419-0 in the GOP-led chamber, also calls on the Biden administration to continue keeping Congress briefed on the matter, the news outlet also reports.
