Confirmation hearing for RFK Jr., Gabbard, Patel all to take place next week
Kennedy Jr. will testify before the Senate Finance Committee which oversees HHS on Jan. 29.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s confirmation hearing for secretary of Health and Human Services will take place next week.
Kennedy will testify before the Senate Finance Committee, which oversees HHS on Jan. 29.
On Jan. 30, he will testify before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, according to Fox News.
Kennedy has already had meetings with Senate Democrats and Republicans regarding the position to which President Donald Trump nominated him.
Kennedy faces challenging confirmation because, in large part, because of his anti-vaccine stance. He can only afford to lose three Republican votes if all Democrats oppose his nomination.
It was confirmed this week that Kash Patel, Trump's pick for FBI director and national intelligence pick Tulsi Gabbard will have their hearings next week.
