Social media slams President Biden as he hands off cabinet meeting to First Lady Jill Biden

Social media slammed President Joe Biden for handing off his cabinet meeting to First Lady Jill Biden.

Biden, who looked visibly tired, held a cabinet meeting on Friday where his wife joined him to discuss the White House Initiative on Women’s Health Research. 

"Here and across previous administrations, first ladies have attended these meetings for specific reasons," Biden said during the meeting, according to Fox News. 

He concluded by saying, "It’s all yours, kid."

According to the outlet, Hillary Clinton was the last first lady to attend her husband's cabinet meeting. 

"Wow. A visibly exhausted Joe Biden just held a full Cabinet meeting for the first time in 11 months and immediately turned the mic over to his wife, Jill," wrote Steve Cortes, former adviser to President Trump, on X.

"Who is running the country?" he asked. 

Jill was also compared to former first lady Edith Wilson who was very influential during President Woodrow Wilson's term. 

"She's literally Edith Wilson except right out in the open in a 24/7 news cycle and nobody in the media cares," digital strategist Greg Price wrote on social media.
