President Biden on Thursday night vilified the so-called "Make America Great Again" movement aligned with former President Trump and his administrationt as "semi-fascist."

"What we're seeing now is the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy," Biden reportedly said at a Democrat fundraiser in Bethesda, Md. "It's not just Trump, it's the entire philosophy that underpins the — I'm going to say something, it's like semi-fascism."

Biden's comments came after he said during his inaugural address last January that the central mission of his presidency was to unify the country.

"Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: Bringing America together, uniting our people, and uniting our nation," Biden said.
