Washington D.C. Mayor Bowser and federal officials are briefing the press after a shooting that occurred at the White House Correspondents Dinner on Saturday evening. 

The shooting happened at the Washington Hilton Hotel.

Authorities said they are in the early stages of the investigation into the suspect, who was apprehended. He is currently in custody.
