The Artemis II crew provides an update Thursday on their last full day in outer space, as they prepare to land off the coast of Southern California on Friday evening.

NASA and the Navy are preparing to recover the astronauts and their Orion spacecraft. The crew will be rescued by the amphibious dock ship U.S.S. John P. Murtha.

The spacecraft is expected to land at 8:07 p.m. Eastern. 

The press conference was expected to begin at 6:10 p.m. Eastern and can be streamed here.
