Serial killer Samuel Little, who had admitted to committing 93 murders spread throughout 19 states, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 80.

The Washington Post reported that officials acknowledge that most of the killings attributed to Little would not have gotten solved if the man had not started admitting the truth in 2018 while in prison.

In 2014 Little was convicted of three murders and he was serving multiple life sentences in California, but he contended he was innocent until 2018 when he started divulging years worth of crimes, according to the outlet. No official cause of death was given.
