Twitter owner Elon Musk announced Friday that at 5 p.m. EST today he would publish information related to the platform's throttling of the Hunter Biden story.

In a subsequent tweet, Musk announced that it would include live Q&A.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed earlier this year that the FBI had pressured his company to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story and previously warned of incoming misinformation dumps. Musk has not specified whether his information dump pertains to that specific story or other materials involving Hunter Biden.

Following Zuckerberg's comments, reporting emerged showing that executives from both Facebook and Twitter had regularly met with the Department of Homeland Security to coordinate misinformation censorship efforts.
