Tim Scott makes public his girlfriend, brings her onstage after GOP debate
Scott said he has been dating her for nearly a year and that she was present at his campaign kickoff in May.
South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott's girlfriend joined him onstage after the Republican presidential primary debate in what was the most viral moment of the evening in Miami for the longtime bachelor.
Scott, who has focused on his faith and conservative values and has never been married, brought a blonde woman in a pantsuit on stage for photos after Wednesday's GOP debate. She was later identified by Politico as his girlfriend, Mindy Noce, a mother of three and a Charleston-area interior designer.
"We thankfully both love the Lord and have a healthy respect for one another, and I'll tell you, we have a lot of fun together, so hopefully, as life continues, we'll continue to see our relationship evolve," Scott told ABC News after the debate.
He also said he has been dating Noce for nearly a year and that she was present at his campaign kickoff in May.
Scott is currently polling at an average of 7.3%, putting him in fourth place for the GOP presidential primary, according to FiveThirtyEight.
