Vehicles at the rear of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s motorcade crashed on Monday while the Democratic vice presidential nominee was heading to a campaign event in Milwaukee.
The vehicle Walz was riding in was not part of the crash and it continued to the event as scheduled.
"A few minor injuries" occurred, Walz said.
"We've spoken with the staff. I'm relieved to say that with a few minor injuries, everybody's going to be okay. So thank you," he said.
