Gun ammunition vending machines installed in Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama grocery stores
The company said 6 have already been installed across those 3 states and two more will be installed in Texas and Colorado.
Vending machines are now being used for more than snacks, beverages or DVDs in 3 states.
Vending machines, sold by the Texas-based company American Rounds, have been installed in Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama so far to sell ammunition for handguns, rifles and shotguns.
“Our ammo is not accessible sitting on a shelf, and we are the only company that absolutely, 100 percent requires an I.D. verification,” said Grant Magers, the chief executive of American Rounds, according to the New York Times.
Magers said 6 have already been installed across those 3 states. The company will install two more in Texas and Colorado.
