Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said Thursday that if the Republican Party keeps using the word "never," the American people will suffer and won't be represented.

"The biggest problem in the Republican Party ... is saying 'never' and it started with 'Never Trump' and then it went to 'Never Kevin McCarthy.' And then it went to 'Never Steve Scalise' and now it's 'Never Jim Jordan,'" Greene told the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.

"As long as we continue to be fractured with groups saying 'never', then you want to know something?" Greene continued. "We're never going to serve the American people."

The House is still lacking a speaker after the ousting of Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif. earlier this month. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, has lost two rounds of voting for speaker.

Whoever becomes speaker would need to get 217 votes.

"I've been voting for Jim Jordan and would be thrilled to see him become Speaker of the House," Greene said. "The reality is we're a very, very fractured conference with a lot of hurt and frustration with each other."

Greene said in order for the party to move forward, there has to be unity.

"I'm calling for unity because we need to remember who our enemies are," she said. "And that's the Democrats. They're destroying our country from the inside out. They're a communist regime."
