CA State Rep. Bill Essayli: Democrats prioritized illegal immigrant healthcare over fire prevention

California State Assemblyman Bill Essayli (R) says the Democrat-led state legislature refuses to prioritize water infrastructure or wildfire prevention bills. “The governor cut wildfire prevention by 80% in this last budget. We went from $900 million a year down to $200 million,” Essayli says. “And just for comparison, we spent $5 billion on illegal immigrant healthcare in the state of California, and $200 million on wildfire prevention. That’s the priorities of the Democrat Party.”
