NYC Public Schools to mandate ‘mindful breathing’ exercises
New York City Mayor Eric Adams instituted a new citywide program Tuesday requiring all public schools to facilitate two-to-five minutes of mindful breathing practices every day. A City Hall spokesman said the new program will be offered to students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12 with no new direct costs to the schools.
