Rep. Mace accuses Republicans of ‘targeting’ women through abortion legislation

Representative Nancy Mace (R-SC) criticized Republicans for failing to “show compassion” to women by passing restrictive abortion policy. House Republicans, including Rep. Mace, voted Friday to pass an amendment to the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act that would overturn the Defense Department’s policy of reimbursing military members’ expenses related to abortion services. “Stop targeting women and do the things that make a real difference,” said Rep. Mace.
