Police in Thailand said Wednesday the six people, including two U.S. citizens, found dead inside a luxury Bangkok hotel room likely drank from tea and coffee cups laced with cyanide following a dispute over bad investments.

The bodies were discovered Tuesday when staff at the five-star Grand Hyatt Erawan entered the victims' suite after they missed check out by more than 24 hours, according to CNN.

In additions to discovering the dead bodies – three men and three women – staffers and later police found a table full of untouched food wrapped in plastic and used cups with traces of a white powder.

Authorities think one of the deceased poisoned the others. Among the dead are two Vietnamese Americans and four Vietnamese nationals, CNN also reports.
