A migrant caravan comprised of thousands of migrants is said to be on its way to the U.S.-Mexico border.

According to Fox News, the participants registered for the caravan via QR code on their phones starting back on Oct. 15.

"Tell Biden we are coming," a migrant from El Salvador reportedly told Fox.

Video obtained by the media outlet shows thousands of people with small children walking through Mexico, heading towards the U.S.

Some of the migrants waved American flags, as well as carried signs with President Joe Biden's name on it.

"President Biden, we need your help," one migrant told Fox News.

The Mexican government estimates about 3,000 people are registered with the caravan.

It will also take considerably longer for the migrants to reach the U.S. because the Mexican government has banned truckers from picking up migrants attempting to get rides to the southern border.

The news of the caravan's approach comes as the Biden administration begins re-implementing the Trump-era policy known as "Remain in Mexico."
