Headed Home: American citizen Faye Hall freed from captivity in Afghanistan with help from Qatar

American citizen Faye Hall, who has been detained in Afghanistan since February, has been freed.
Qatar provided logistical support as a partner of the United States in Afghanistan, according to a source familiar with the release.
Qatar coordinated with authorities in Afghanistan as well as the U.S. embassy in Doha to finalize the legal requirements to formally secure her release.
Hall was in good health when she arrived at the Qatari embassy in Kabul, the source said. She is currently undergoing medical exams.
Her return to the United States is currently being arranged.
Hall was originally detained and charged with using a drone without proper authorization.
