The first episode of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson's new show on Twitter had more than 100 million views in less than two days since its launch.

Carlson shared his show, "Tucker on Twitter," Tuesday evening. It consisted of a monologue where Carlson spoke for more than 10 minutes about the media's coverage of Ukraine and the government's control of information.

"Nobody knows what's happening. A small group of people control access to all relevant information and the rest of us don't know," Carlson said in the clip. "Go ahead and talk about something that really matters and see what happens. If you keep it up, they'll make you be quiet. Trust us. That's how they maintain control."

Carlson hinted at releasing more episodes on Twitter if the social media platform remains committed to free speech.

"We’re told there are no gatekeepers here. If that turns out to be false, we’ll leave. But in the meantime, we are grateful to be here. We’ll be back with much more very soon," he said.

Fox has accused Carlson of breaking his contract with the cable network by posting the monologue on Twitter.

"Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Mr. Carlson’s 'services shall be completely exclusive to Fox,'" the network wrote in a letter to Carlson's attorneys.

Carlson left Fox in April. It is unclear why Carlson left the network, but it came days after Fox settled a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787.5 million over its coverage of Dominion's role in the 2020 election.
