'Reagan' movie expected to make $9.2 million over long weekend
The movie has received a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The "Reagan" movie starring Dennis Quaid is expected to make $9.2 million by the end of Labor Day weekend, according to reports.
The film about the 40th president of the U.S., Ronald Reagan, exceeded expectations and has so far made $7.4 million, according to The Associated Press.
While most of the mainstream movie critics panned it, the movie received a 98% audience fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with just an 18% critics rating on the popular site.
Facebook had suspended the film's account twice and at another point didn't let the marketing team promote a post with Quaid's picture in it.
The film received a largely favorable review from The Epoch Times, which described it as a "wake-up call about the evils of communism, which, without study, is almost impossible to spot. This warm, fuzzy biopic attempts to blow the whistle."
Marvel's recent movie titled “Deadpool & Wolverine,” topped the charts again and will likely go above the domestic $600 million mark.
