GOP Congressman Scott: US ‘should have already’ imposed ‘sanctions’ on Russia

President Joe Biden shakes hands with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Rep. Austin Scott (R-GA) discusses the Biden Administration’s foreign policy response to Ukraine and Biden’s recent speech in Georgia, calling everyone who disagreed with him on voting rights, racists. The Congressman commented that Georgia voting was a way for Biden to ‘change the narrative from his failures, both internationally…as well, as what's happening at the gas pump and at the grocery store with inflation’. Congressman Scott went on to criticize Biden for a seemingly lack of response to Putin, saying ‘we should have already passed economic sanctions’, ‘the fact that [Russia] removed the families of their embassy personnel [in Ukraine] is a very telling thing’. He also commented that Putin ‘historically has done something during the Olympics, and the Olympics are right around the corner’.
