The complete handwritten confession by the accused killer of Charlie Kirk, in a letter to his trans lover, was made public Thursday, according to newly unsealed court documents.

Tyler Robinson, who is being held awaiting trial for allegedly shooting Kirk, the conservative activist and media personality who founded Turning Point USA as a teenager, had written the letter to his roommate and lover, Lance Twiggs, who he calls “Luna” in the note.

“Luna, if you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry,” Robinson wrote, referring to a text he had sent Twiggs shortly after Kirk was shot and killed. The text reportedly told Twiggs to “drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.”

Kirk was shot from a nearby rooftop while addressing students at a gathering at Utah Valley University in September 2025.

A search warrant affidavit obtained by Fox 13 confirmed the note was found in the townhouse that Twiggs and Robinson shared in St. George, Utah, under the keyboard, just as described in Robinson’s text.

The letter went on to say, “I left the house this morning on a mission, and set an auto text.

“I am likely dead, or facing a lengthy prison sentence. I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it.

“I don’t know if I will/have succeeded, but I had hoped to make it home to you. I wish we could have lived in a world where this did not feel necessary. I wish I could have stayed for you and lived our lives together,” Robinson wrote, reported the New York Post

“I lack the words to express how much I love you, and how very much you mean to me. Please try and find joy in this life. I love you, always, -Tyler,” he concludes.

Robinson could face the death penalty if convicted of aggravated murder. He is due back in court April 17, and is expected to be held behind bars until his trial concludes.
